The new part of Gösta's museum consists of four white building volumes. These volumes are related by scale to the old manor house but form essentially a totally new architectural ensemble to the museum. The new building mass constrains the old manor house's entrance to the west and respects the existing milieu of the manor. The entrance of the museum is situated in the stem of the new and the old building.

The museum spaces are divided into four parts. The freeform building masses are connected with a lobby which can also be used for exhibition purposes. The exhibition spaces are provided with indirect natural light and form a great setting to display any kind of art. or recycled paper will be used.
