Helsinki Olympic Stadium Refurbishment earned the award for excellence in architectural design and structural engineering as well as for high-quality project management and implementation. The refurbishment included challenging renovation of old concrete structures and large scale new structures. The award winner is selected annually by the Finnish concrete industry association Betoniteollisuus ry.

The design of the refurbishment and extension was made in joint venture with NRT Architects and in collaboration with White Architects and Wessel de Jonge Architects.
