Maunula House in Venice Architecture Biennale 2018

The exhibition titled Mind-Building introduces the evolution of Finnish library architecture from the late 19th century to present day. Maunula community centre represents today´s extended idea of a library building. The combination of a library and a community centre gathers various users under the same roof. Maunula-house acts as a beacon for the local community.
