New tram station for the Helsinki main railway station

Plans for the Kaivokatu and a new tram station in front of the main entrance of the Helsinki railway station are now published for public comments. Kaivokatu will be transformed into a green, public transportation and pedestrian driven public space. Tram station is designed by K2S Architects and the street planning by Ramboll. Landscaping is a cooperation between Ramboll and MASU Planning.
