The ordination of the finished church was held on Easter Sunday. “We are privileged to watch this beautiful church, which is like the miracle of the resurrection morning. It is a cathedral of joy, raised from the tears and ash”, sums up the bishop Jukka Keskitalo who held the ceremony. The original church, built in 1786, burnt down in Easter 2016.
